 Social issue- The dowry system in India. The dowry system in India is one of the non-highlighted issue ,we have laws which opposes its practice but the under illegal practice is going almost in whole India. According to court ,the legal definition of dowry is- "Dowry" in the sense of the expression contemplated by Dowry Prohibition Act is a demand for property of valuable security having an inextricable nexus with the marriage, i.e., it is a consideration from the side of the bride's parents or relatives to the groom or his parents and/or guardian for the agreement to wed the bride-to-be. But worse is when it falls - fast and hard and you have not option but to go down with it." It wasn't his fault. He wasn't perfect, I wasn't even close . It wasn't his fault that we feel head over heals in love .We thought it was really clique meeting through a mutual friend .But we found our happiness in cliques, we'd call each other with  love names, which we name it, even though we cringed when another couple said it. So, we did the whole thing, he went down on his knees at an ice cream parlor and asked me to be his girlfriend, he got me lilies on those lame month anniversaries that we stopped keeping track of.
