 Social issue- The dowry system in India.

The dowry system in India is one of the non-highlighted issue ,we have laws which opposes its practice but the under illegal practice is going almost in whole India.



According to court ,the legal definition of dowry is-

"Dowry" in the sense of the expression contemplated by Dowry Prohibition Act is a demand for property of valuable security having an inextricable nexus with the marriage, i.e., it is a consideration from the side of the bride's parents or relatives to the groom or his parents and/or guardian for the agreement to wed the bride-to-be.

We do have laws against dowries that have been in effect for decades, but the bitter truth is  they have been largely criticized as being ineffective. and people around doing this freely no matters of how rich or poor how literate or illiterate you are ,the free money is the need of everyone ,this is the mentality of poor people to take dowry.

some also says we are taking your daughter so you should pay us to look after her ,what more to say here...if they not get satisfied or not get the amount of rupee they want then they even molest or murder the girl at harsh.

Can't we do anything for this ??

Yes we can ,we have to give the best quality of education to our next generation .Not to practice and not even bear this malpractice.

A man who earn whole life and then spend his whole earnings and his biggest diamond "his daughter" just in a single day....It sucks man!!

On a good note it is right to say things are going better but it needs to be best ,we are the only one who is responsible for our condition ,not anybody else is responsible ,we have to work and get the things on our way if we really want to fight against it.

We are not the sad generation that is in a need of dowry ,let's be the generation with the bright      future :))
